Google and other search engines have been working on ways to discount the rankings of these pages, which are rarely the kind of content that users are actually looking for when they use the keywords which these sites target.

A flip book is a collection of combined pictures intended to be flipped over to give the illusion of movement and create an animated sequence from a simple small book without machine. You hold the flip book in one hand while you flip over the pages with the thumb of the other hand, either from front to back or from back to front.

A Twitter phishing attack is spreading rapidly today, attempting to obtain Twitter logins via email. If you receive a message reading “Twitter XXX-XX (numbers)”, and linking to Google Groups, do not click the link.

Press freedom in Italy is under threat. A new law (the so-called legge Alfano), to be voted on in the Italian Parliament this week, would significantly limit what the Italian media can report. In particular, it would prohibit the publication or broadcast of any information about the indictment of any individual on any charge until the case comes to court.

Oceanic Airlines’ most repeated appearances are in the TV series Lost. The show explores the aftermath of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815 from Sydney to Los Angeles. The producers of Lost also created a website for the fictional airline, including clues and references to the show’s plot. In flashforwards, a group of the characters that survive the crash are nicknamed the “Oceanic Six” (Hurley, Kate, Jack, Sayid, Sun, and Aaron).
