Coazze is a famous highland resort, especially popular in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, Coazze is famous for having hosted in 1901 Luigi Pirandello for a month’s vacation. The motto printed on the church tower of Coazze, “Each in its own way” (Ognuno a Suo Modo), Pirandello was inspired for one of his most famous works (Ciascuno a suo modo).
